Cornerstone Christian School
The Cornerstone Difference
If education is spiritual in nature, as we believe, then it must have a moral fiber that is woven into all things educational. At Cornerstone Christian School, we believe in a Christian worldview and teach from that worldview.
Building a Spiritual House
"To whom coming, as
unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,
Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood,
to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God - Jesus Christ.
Wherefore also it is contained in the scriptures. Behold, I lay in Zion a
chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall
not be confounded. Unto you therefore which believe he is precious; but
unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the
same is made the head of the corner, and a stone of stumbling, and a rock
of offense, even them which stumble at the word, being disobedient where unto
also they were appointed. But you are a chosen generation, a royal
priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the
praises of him who hath called out of darkness into his marvelous light."
Key verse: I Peter 2:1-9 (4-9)
We believe in excellence and demand that from our faculty and staff, as well as our students. One of our goals is to challenge them to come up higher in every area of their lives. Adding value to everything they do.
Strong Academics
Cornerstone
Christian School students consistently score between the 70th and 95th
percentile in annual Terra Nova Achievement Tests. Our school also
recognizes the importance of a low student-to-teacher ratio in academic
achievement, so class sizes range from 12 to 20 students.
Cornerstone
is a nondenominational school with a diverse student body, younger
grades focus on critical Scriptures central to the statement of faith
with common interpretations among evangelical churches. High school
